LCP, INP & CLS

Technical SEO

LCP, INP, and CLS are the three individual metrics that make up Core Web Vitals — measuring loading speed, interaction responsiveness, and visual stability.

LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) measures how long the biggest visible content element takes to load — Google's threshold for "good" is under 2.5 seconds. INP (Interaction to Next Paint) measures how quickly a page responds to user interactions like clicks or taps, with under 200ms considered good. CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift) measures unexpected visual movement — content jumping around as a page loads, often caused by images or ads without reserved space — with under 0.1 considered good.
