Landing Page View

PerformanceAdvertisingAnalytics

Landing page views count how many people actually loaded the destination page after clicking an ad — a stricter measure than raw clicks.

The gap between clicks and landing page views is one of the most useful, least-checked diagnostics in paid media. If clicks are 10,000 and landing page views are 7,000, roughly 30% of clicks never resulted in a loaded page — usually a slow-loading page, an app-to-browser handoff failure on mobile, or bot/accidental clicks. That 30% is being paid for at full CPC and delivering nothing.

Meta explicitly separates "Link Clicks" from "Landing Page Views" in its reporting for exactly this reason. A large, persistent gap is usually a technical or page-speed problem worth fixing before touching targeting or creative.
