Long-Tail Keyword
SEO
A long-tail keyword is a longer, more specific search phrase with lower individual search volume but typically higher intent and lower competition than a broad, short-tail keyword.
"ROAS" is a short-tail keyword: high volume, broad intent, brutal competition. "break even roas calculator for a 20% margin ecommerce business" is a long-tail variant: low individual volume, but sharply specific intent and dramatically less competition. In aggregate, the long tail across an entire topic frequently drives more total qualified traffic than chasing the single head keyword ever could, especially for newer or smaller sites that can't win the head term outright.
