Orphan Page
SEOTechnical SEO
An orphan page is a page with no internal links pointing to it from anywhere else on the site, making it hard for both users and search engines to discover.
Orphan pages often still get indexed (via a sitemap submission or an old external backlink) but rarely rank well, since they receive no internal link equity and no contextual signal about what topic cluster they belong to. Auditing for orphan pages — usually via a site crawl compared against the actual XML sitemap — is a routine technical SEO cleanup task.
