Offline Conversion

Offline Conversion Tracking
MartechAnalytics

Offline conversion tracking uploads data about conversions that happen outside a website or app — a phone sale, an in-store purchase, a sales team closing a deal — back to the ad platform that originally drove the lead.

This closes a measurement gap that's otherwise invisible to standard pixel-based tracking: a lead-gen ad that generates a form submission, followed by a sales call that closes the deal three weeks later, has no way for the ad platform to know about that eventual sale unless the business explicitly reports it back. Offline conversion imports (matched via email, phone number, or a click ID captured at lead time) let the platform's bidding algorithm optimize toward actual revenue outcomes, not just the shallow lead event.
